Orchard Kids Mission
Jesus teaches us to let the little children come to Him. The goal of The Orchard Kids ministry is to have children experience the grace of God, become empowered by the Holy Spirit, and grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. (Luke 18:16)
Growing Children
Growth is a Process
In order for a child’s faith to grow they must grow in the Word of God; therefore, our children’s ministry is built on a bible directed program that focuses on both bible stories as well as showing God’s hand of grace and providence in history. Their identity, rooted in Christ, is important and we want them to understand who they are and Who’s they are. Ultimately, we want to nurture children to become young disciples of Christ. (Col.2:6-7; Rom.10:17).
Details
The Orchards Kids ministry is for children between the ages of 3 years through 11 years of age or through grade 6. The children’s program begins during a typical Sunday service after praise and worship. Snacks are not typically provided, however, during special events parents will be pre notified. Labelled water bottles are highly recommended.

The Sprouts Corner is for parents who wish to have a place to let their toddlers (Ages birth through 2 years of age) sit, crawl, play or color during Sunday service. As The Orchard Church grows, in the future, we hope to have a Sprouts Nursery. For the time being, we appreciate every parent that makes the effort to join us for Sunday services and rest assured, we love your littlest ones and we are not bothered by their presence.
Safety
Here at The Orchard Kids ministry every child is valued and loved. We aim to create a safe and fun-filled community where parents have confidence their child feels comfortable and are well cared for. In case of an emergency or general inquiry we require all parents/guardians to fill out our child information pack, which provides basic emergency contact information and any other relevant information you’d like to add. *This especially helps us be aware of potential allergies.
We maintain basic standards of conduct:
- Respectful language.
- Respectful conduct towards the children’s leadership team.
- Respectful manner with their peers.
- Respect of property.
