The Orchard Church
We are a local community of Christ followers, marked by His presence and planted in His word.
Together we demonstrate His love to one another through encouragement and service, that we might grow and become fruitful in all the ways He has called us to be.
Psalm 1:3 – He (the righteous) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (NKJV)
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM in the city of Calgary, Alberta.

We are a local church in the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We believe that God has called each and every follower of Christ to grow in Him through the working of the Holy Spirit and the nourishment of the Word of God, the Bible.
As a community we grow together, like trees in an Orchard, to become mature, fruitful citizens of the Kingdom of God.
We model our community after the early church which was established shortly after Jesus’ ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:42 spells out key aspects of what this church did: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (NKJV)
Taking our queues from the early church, we value:
- Biblical teaching, the Word of God is consistent from beginning (Genesis) to end (Revelation) our teaching considers what the entire breadth of scripture says about a matter
- Gathering together for the purpose of encouragement and strengthening one another in our faith
- Sharing meals which fosters meaningful fellowship and embodies the biblical principles of agreement and covenant.
- Prayer, the foundation of our relationship with God. Prayer is critical both personally and corporately as we gather together.

In Orchard Kids we dive deep into Bible stories to teach our children about the truth of the Word of God, understanding the meaning behind the stories.
